I’m bringing my snowshoes as I expect there will be significant snow on the last 900′ gain. Probably boot it until just over the creek crossing. Bushwhack up the north ridge will be “interesting”. 🙂

  2. Magnum says on :

Love that ridge bushwhack. In addition to snowshoes, I’m bringing a welding mask and chainmaille.

  3. BarbE says on :

Looking forward to the north ridge bushwhack.

  4. Erik says on :

I think it’s a good call on the snowshoes, Yukon. The north-facing slopes are still loaded with snow. Tomorrow will be warmer and usher in a tree-well and post-hole extravaganza.

What’s the rendezvous time at the trailhead? I don’t see it anywhere. I’m assuming it’s 5:45.

  6. Jo says on :

Sorry for the late reply puzzlr, we meet at the trail head at 5:45 to be on trail no later than 6. Happy hiking!
