if anyone in the downtown seattle area is TNABing this week, and could offer a ride, i’d love to join. i bike to work, so getting home and driving back is a time-dilemma for me. please let me know at mlh4480 at hotmail.com

Ran up and checked the status of the road to tomorrow’s hike. Some road snow begins about a half mile before the trailhead, gets deepest about a quarter mile before, but the parking lot itself is clear. No problem in a Honda CRV. Low cars might drag a little snow in spots, but the traction is good. Wouldn’t want to meet an on-coming car, though. Tomorrow is all 40s and rain, so should even be better by go time.

I drove to the TH tonight – easy for cars; just a little bit of snow on the road for the last 1/2 mile. Bare ground for the tire tracks. Shouldn’t be a problem.
