Kendall Peak Information:
Our intended route via Commonwealth Creek – red track on the map. Green line is the main (much longer) route via the PCT. Park at the main trail head and head up the PCT trail for 50′ or so. Look for unofficial boot path off to your left through brush. Expect 1 or 2 creek crossings farther in before rejoining the PCT trail halfway up the mountain. Just past the set of switchbacks around 5300′, leave the trail and climb steep grassy slope to the ridge line a 100 yards left/north of the summit. Simple ridge walk over to the summit.
Distance & Elevation: 9.2 miles round trip and 3050′ gain

Driving Directions:
NW Forest Pass required to park
We’ll be taking off from the main PCT trailhead at Snoq Pass where you take the Alpental exit but then turn right on the small forest road near the highway, before you start heading very far towards Alpental. Park at the lower area with the clearly signed trail head.
