Special Thanks to Guest Trip Reporter EWB:

TNAB plowed up the valley’s namesake mountain in record time this year.  The ground conditions were good, with solid bootable snow from the Guye junction.  The sky conditions not so much, offering only thick low clouds, cold temps, and a Decemberish wind.  The main group got going on time and caught some pre- and ski-NABers before the waterfall.  We soon found Larry’s steps and climbed them out of the basin and along the ridge.  We reached the top in short order and enjoyed some drinks, snacks, and dry layers beneath the still giant summit cornice.  We then plunged, glissaded, slid, and skied back to the Alpental lot and down to the Pour House to dream of a summer still just out of reach.
